Lumière de California celebrates the unique light of California as expressed through Plein Air painting. Forty-three artworks in the exhibition feature the essence of morning light, afternoon sun, as well as twilight. Sky, water, and mountains interact to express the beauty of California.

SCA member Roger Gordon is featured alongside 25 other artists.

This exhibition features the finest in California Plein air featuring members of the oldest Plein air club in California the California Art Club based in Pasadena, CA. The museum features a "wet gallery" with artworks from the "paint out" held on Wed. May 18th in Bonita. Jurors for the exhibition include Janet Klauber and Anne Porter.
