Three monoprints by Thom Wright have been accepted to the “Art Start” Exhibition at OCCCA. This show will have 100 artists selected nationally and runs November 5 to December 9. The opening reception is Saturday, Nov 5, 6 – 9 pm. All works in the show must be priced below $250 to provide more affordable art to the general public. Entry to the show was made free by OCCCA to encourage artists to participate. OCCCA is located in Santa Ana, and its website is www.occca.com
Exhibition proposals are evaluated annually by Fine Arts staff. Artists and art collectors interested in exhibiting works in a City gallery must submit an Exhibition Proposal Form, curriculum vitae, artist statement and CD of submitted artwork. Artwork is selected that is broad in scope and diverse in its appeal to provide the community an opportunity to experience artistic expression representative of a wide variety of media, styles, techniques, and subjects.
The annual exhibition schedule is set 12 months or more in advance of exhibition dates.
Deadline to submit applications for the July 2017-June 2018 exhibition schedule: September 30, 2016
