SCA is happy to announce that Thom Wright is one of about 90 artists participating in the First Annual Food, Fine Art and Music Festival of Huntington Beach.
As in many communities across the USA, art shows are evolving into weekend cultural art events. This one is hosted near the Hyatt Resort and Hotel at Beach Blvd. and Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach. This fine art event has no crafts, has classic rock music of the 60’s and 70’s, and is in collaboration with the Huntington Beach Art Center, of which I am a member. Thom will be selling his recent paintings (see example above of one of his “jazz guitar abstracts” series), and in competition with many, many others. And there are greater enjoyments of the day with options for sampling the best of local restaurants and entertainment by many old-time rock and roll bands and singers. A big turnout is expected from their heavy media advertising for its opening success.

Friday September 5 (4-8 pm) $5 entry first half-day special
Saturday September 6 and Sunday the 7th (11 am – 8 pm)
Food and Art Entry: $15/day, and with music $20/day
