The High Desert Arts & Literary Festival September 8 & 9

The High Desert Arts and Literary Festival is calling for artists and artisans of original fine art works to exhibit and sell at its first annual show September 8th and 9th at the Victor Valley Museum in Apple Valley, California.
The Festival is presented by the American Association of University Women (Victor Valley branch), the San Bernardino County Museum, the High Desert Chapter of the California Writers Club, and the San Bernardino County Library.
Proceeds will benefit science, technology, education and math (STEM) programs, and community college scholarships.

BC Space is hosting a juried and curated show for current SCA members only. Art selection will be done in two stages:
- a review of jpg images by Mark Chamberlain
- final selection when art is on site
As the message of the show is of of paramount importance, the curator reserves the right to make a final selection to insure there is cohesiveness of presentation and message.

Show runs Thursday, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Curated by Louis Jacinto, whose work has been continuously exhibited in the Southern California area since 1980, and in the last decade he has also focused on showcasing other artists via his periodic publication of onodream Magazine: One Artist, One Conversation, Here/There will be his contribution to The Getty Initiative Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA 2017. Curator and art historian Kene J. Rosa will be the exhibition’s co-curator.

The drop off times are today and tomorrow, March 28 – 29th at Coastline College Gallery.
The title of this open call exhibit is RIBBA 3.
Your art must be framed in IKEA frame size 27 1/2 x 19 3/4″ Ribba.
March 28 – 3pm to 6pm drop off
March 29 – 10am to 4pm drop off
There is no entry fee.
The opening reception is Sat, April 8th, 5-8pm.
