At 87, artist Fay Colmar has an exhibit at Cal State Fullerton and can’t wait to get back to work

As Fay Colmar moved around the Leo Freedman Gallery at Cal State Fullerton, there was a certain bounce in her step.
Colmar, a CSUF alumna, showed the highlights of her life as a prominent Orange County artist in her exhibit, “Full Circle: The Art of Fay Colmar” at the one of the college’s galleries. The gallery is up until June 30.

“I feel like I’ve had a wonderful year,” Colmar, 87, said addressing friends and family members. “I’ve made a very good living from it. I’ve gained a lot of exposure. “Nature Prevails” SCA Group Exhibition at BC Space

BC Space is hosting a juried and curated show for current SCA members only. Art selection will be done in two stages:

  1. a review of jpg images by Mark Chamberlain
  2. final selection when art is on site

As the message of the show is of of paramount importance, the curator reserves the right to make a final selection to insure there is cohesiveness of presentation and message.

“The magnificent complexity and endurance of planet Earth…with or without mankind.”

Hi SCA members,

For the all-media exhibit RIBBA 3:
The drop off times are today and tomorrow, March 28 – 29th at Coastline College Gallery.
The title of this open call exhibit is RIBBA 3.

Your art must be framed in IKEA frame size 27 1/2 x 19 3/4″ Ribba.
March 28 – 3pm to 6pm drop off
March 29 – 10am to 4pm drop off

There is no entry fee.
The opening reception is Sat, April 8th, 5-8pm.
